StudioAmmons worked with our client to develop a traditional house located on a point on the York River just in from its mouth at the Chesapeake Bay. The design breaks down the form of the traditional brick box with a flush sided facade on the river elevation that partially wraps the ends of the house creating an elegant riverside porch and entrance.
