This project includes the complete restoration of the colonial era plantation house to its 1800 design. All outbuildings and gardens from this period are being restored in conjunction with the construction of new stables, garages, guesthouses and dock. A new power/ communications infrastructure is being installed to unify the plantation. StudioAmmons was overseeing management of the design, construction, historical architectural research and archeology.

Three 17th-century occupation sites have been identified on the grounds, one of which has been determined to be the Paces Paines site of 1618. These sites will be fully investigated as part of the masterplan implementation for the project.
