Terry Ammons led the AIA team in Brigham City, Utah in a community design process aimed at the redevelopment of Brigham City’s North Main Street Corridor. The team took a close look at how to re-program traffic on this portion of Main Street and how to encourage the improvement and development of key properties along the corridor.
Our approach started with dividing North Main into three distinct development zones and then looking at how to connect commercial development with the neighborhoods to either side of North Main. Development target were identified and a set of design and peacemaking principles were developed to guide the city as it works with its residents going forward.
