ADAPTIVE REUSE OF THE city ICE WORKS AS A 30 BBL BREWERY, RESTAURANT, AND APARTMENTS

This historic ice and coal complex was renovated to become a new 30-bbl brewery distribution brewery in Old Town Petersburg with the warehouse on the property converted to apartments. The design includes a central public courtyard space with an outdoor bar. Our approach to the interior was to stabilize and do as little to the rough industrial character as possible while producing a clean and sanitary environment for the brewhouse and restaurant.
